Effective Software Engineering Practices
This course is mainly developed for software engineers (i.e. engaged in various project roles such as analyst, architect, designer, developers, testers and maintenance support) and software process engineers who are looking for a basic foundation in Software Life Cycle (SLC) processes and best practices.
This course will walk the participants through the different stages of the SLC, understand its key practice areas, learn the tools & techniques, and identify the basic entry/exit criteria at each stage. The course utilizes IEEE Computer Society’s Guide to Software Engineering (SWEBOK) as a standard in the attainment of consistent and common understanding of the Software Engineering processes.
